How does this semi-sheer linen curtain filter light?

This curtain softens incoming daylight while still allowing light to pass through. It helps create a brighter, calmer atmosphere without fully blocking natural light.

Can this curtain be made to my exact measurements?

Yes. This curtain is made to order, allowing you to choose dimensions that fit your space more precisely than standard ready-made options.

What options can I choose when ordering this curtain?

Depending on the product, you can select size, linen weight, color, and heading style to match your interior and functional needs.

Is this curtain suitable for a bedroom?

This curtain can work well in a bedroom if you prefer soft daylight and a lighter feel. If you need stronger light blocking, a blackout curtain would be a more suitable choice.

Cream linen curtain panels are made from softened 175 g/m² European linen for a naturally light-filtering, semi-sheer window treatment with a soft, relaxed drape. Made to order in Lithuania and customized to your selected width, length and hanging style, each set includes two linen curtain panels for bedrooms, living rooms and other interiors where natural daylight, privacy and warm textile texture are equally important.

The Cream shade is a soft, warm neutral that feels gentler than bright white while keeping the room visually light. It pairs naturally with warm white, beige, oak, natural wood, stone and other understated materials, making it particularly suited to warm minimalist, Scandinavian, organic modern and relaxed neutral interiors.

The 175 g/m² linen softly filters incoming daylight rather than blocking it completely. Its semi-sheer construction helps soften bright light and provides a degree of daytime privacy while allowing natural light to remain part of the room.

The lighter linen weight creates a fluid, naturally gathered drape that works particularly well for floor-to-ceiling windows, tall windows, wide window areas and softly puddled curtain styling. Custom sizing also makes these curtains useful for non-standard windows where ready-made curtain widths or lengths do not provide the desired proportions.

Each curtain is individually made to your selected dimensions. A range of hanging styles is available, allowing the panels to be adapted to different curtain rods and track systems.

Product details

These semi-sheer linen curtain panels are made from 175 g/m² lightweight softened linen. This fabric feels lighter, smoother, and airier, allowing more daylight into the room while creating a soft, relaxed look.

Cream is a warm, gentle neutral that adds softness and coziness without feeling heavy. It works beautifully in farmhouse, vintage, rustic, Scandinavian, and timeless interiors.

Available hanging styles include multifunctional tape, simple hem, tie tops, rod pocket, buttonholes, grommets, crowned rod pocket, tab tops with buttons, and tab tops. Rod-friendly options include rod pocket, crowned rod pocket, tab tops, tie tops, and grommets. Track-friendly options include multifunctional tape and buttonholes. Please note that hanging hardware, rings, hooks, and clips are not included. If you are unsure which option to choose, multifunctional tape is the most flexible choice.

For a fuller look, we recommend choosing a total curtain width about 1.5–2 times your window or rod width. Custom sizing is available if you need a more tailored fit.

Care guide

To maintain the quality and natural beauty of your Dusty Linen items:

Washing: Hand wash or use a gentle machine cycle at 40°C / cold water. Wash separately or with similar colors to prevent color transfer.

Drying: For best results, dry on low heat or hang to dry. This helps maintain the fabric’s texture and reduces wear.

Softened Look: For the relaxed, softened linen look, avoid ironing and embrace a slightly creased finish. If you prefer a smoother look, iron inside-out on a medium-high setting, or use a moderate steam setting.

Avoid Bleach: Do not bleach, as it can damage the natural fibers and alter the color.

With each wash, your linen will become softer, enhancing its timeless appeal.

A great shop and fantastic product! Rita is a gem. We love our curtains and have placed multiple orders during this past year.

Rita was a great person to work with, very accommodative and responsive

I ordered curtains with ties. They arrived very quickly and we are thrilled with the quality of the sewing and material. We will definitely order from this shop again!

These curtains are fantastic! Medium-weight linen with enough thickness to diffuse the bright sun coming into our bedroom in the morning. Rita was so kind and patient with our requests. Quality is outstanding and shipping was so fast! We will be ordering from Rita again.

Perfect!! I like it, very good! :) I suggest!

Loving this item! Fast delivery and flexible shop! Thank you! :)

I bought a beautiful natural color linen curtain for the slider in my bedroom. The fabric is gorgeous, even better than I'd hoped, and the workmanship is perfect. It gives me privacy but allows light to filter in in a lovely way. So happy with this purchase!

Beautiful curtains! Great communication will shop. Fast shipping. Cute wrapping. Will be ordering more customized curtains! Thank you!

Beautifully made and would not hesitate to purchase from this shop again. Everything was perfect. Please note that it in the UK there is an import tax you need to pay when they try and deliver them. For us it was about 18% of the item cost (probably another annoying aspect of brexit!) but this wouldn’t put me off buying from the shop again because quality is so good. Thank you for such a great product!

The curtain is exactly as I imagined it would be. It is opaque, but makes the sun shine diffusely, so that the room appears in a wonderfully warm light.
