Curtains (Sheer & Blackout)
Curtains (Sheer & Blackout)
What to measure
- Rod / track width (end to end)
- Desired curtain length (from the top of the rod/track to where you want the curtains to fall)
- Installation type (rod, track, rings, clips — if applicable)
Common mistakes
- Measuring the window instead of the rod/track width
- Forgetting where the rod/track sits above the window frame
Quick tip
- For a fuller look, many customers choose 1.5–2× fullness (depending on style).
Need help? Message us your rod/track width + desired length + photos of your setup.
Shower Curtains
Shower Curtains
What to measure
- Curtain rod width
- Desired finished length (from the rod to where you want the curtain to end)
- Shower type (tub vs walk-in) and whether you want inside/outside mounting
Common mistakes
- Measuring from the ceiling instead of the rod
- Choosing a length that drags on the floor (unless intentionally styled)
Need help? Send us your rod width + target length + a quick photo of the space.
Couch Covers
Couch Covers
What to measure
- Seat width (left to right)
- Seat depth (front to back)
- Drop length (how far you want the cover to fall)
- Sofa type (straight / L-shape / sectional) + cushion count
Common mistakes
- Not measuring the drop (this affects the final look the most)
- Not mentioning special details (chaise, wide arms, loose cushions)
Need help? Send your measurements + 2–3 photos (front + side + cushions).
Bedding (Duvet Covers & Pillowcases)
Bedding (Duvet Covers & Pillowcases)
What to measure
- Your duvet insert size (width × length)
- Your pillow insert size
- Any preference for closure style (ties/buttons, envelope/zipper where available)
Common mistakes
- Guessing sizes instead of checking the label on the insert
Need help? Send us the insert label photo or sizes in cm/in.
Pillowcases
Pillowcases
What to measure
- Pillow insert width × length
- Preference: envelope / ties / zipper (where available)
Common mistakes
- Mixing up “standard/queen/king” naming between regions — sizes vary.
Need help? Send pillow size in cm/in and your preferred closure.
Canopy Curtains
Canopy Curtains
What to measure
- Bed/canopy frame width × length × height (if applicable)
- Where the canopy will hang (ceiling / frame / hooks)
- Desired drape and coverage (light / medium / full)
Common mistakes
- Not noting the hanging method (it changes construction)
Need help? Send dimensions + photos of the frame + where it will be installed.
Tablecloths (Rectangular, Oval & Round)
Tablecloths (Rectangular, Oval & Round)
What to measure
- Tabletop size:
Rectangular/Oval: length × width
Round: diameter - Desired drop/overhang (how far you want the cloth to hang over the edge)
- If your table has leaves/extensions, measure with the leaf in (or tell us both sizes)
Quick tip (choose a drop)
- 6–8 in (15–20 cm): casual / everyday
- 10–12 in (25–30 cm): classic
- 15 in+ (38 cm+): formal look
How to calculate finished size
- Rectangular/Oval:
(table length + 2×drop) × (table width + 2×drop) - Round:
(table diameter + 2×drop)
Common mistakes
- Forgetting to add the drop on both sides (it’s 2×drop)
- Measuring the table without mentioning extensions/leaves
- Choosing a drop that’s too short for the look you want
Need help? Send us your tabletop size + desired drop + a quick photo of the table.
