Where do I find the most accurate info for the item I want?

On each product page. We include a product-specific FAQ, fabric and finish options, care notes, shipping/import info, plus measuring and selection diagrams—so you can decide with confidence.

How does ordering made-to-order work?

Simple: measure → choose finish & function → we sew to your specs. You’ll also see “How ordering works” at the top of each product page.

Can you check my setup before you order?

Yes. If you’re unsure about measurements, heading style, rod/track type, or shower setup, send a photo and we’ll help confirm.

How do I measure correctly?

Start with the Measure & Choose Guide. Follow the product page steps and diagrams. If something feels unclear, message us—photos help us confirm details quickly.

Can you help me choose a curtain heading style?

Yes. Choose based on your rod/track/hooks and the look you want. The guide walks you through it, and we can confirm from a photo if needed.

Can I request custom sizes or designs?

Yes, most of our products, like bedding, curtains, and table linens, can be customized. Contact us for special requests.

How do I choose the right product for my interior?

Light fabrics (175 g/m²) suit minimalist styles, while heavier ones (190 g/m²) complement rustic or boho aesthetics. Contact us for personalized advice.

What materials are your products made of?

All products are crafted from 100% natural linen unless specified:
Blackout curtains: Linen (linen 100%) and blackout fabric (100% polyster).
Shower curtains: Linen (linen 100%) and waterproof fabric (100% polyster).
Waffle blankets: 53% linen and 47% cotton for extra softness.

What does OEKO-TEX certified mean?

This certification ensures our products are free from harmful substances, safe for you and the environment.

Do you offer fabric swatches?

Yes—and we strongly recommend them. Swatches help you see the true tone, texture, and sheerness in your own home lighting.

How should I wash my linens?

Use a gentle cycle at 30–40°C (86–104°F). Air dry or tumble dry on low heat.

Will linen shrink or fade?

Linen may shrink slightly (about 1%) and can soften or fade over time in strong direct sunlight. This is normal for natural fibers.

Is linen see-through?

It depends on fabric weight, color, and lighting. Semi-sheer curtains are designed to keep an airy look while softening visibility. If you need stronger privacy or sleep support, consider heavier fabric or blackout.

Is linen more durable than cotton?

Yes, linen is stronger and becomes softer over time, offering longevity and value.

What is stone-washed linen?

It’s a pre-washing technique that makes linen softer, shrink-resistant, and gives it a relaxed texture.

What makes Dusty Linen products unique?

Can I return made-to-order items?

Because each piece is made to order, we can’t accept returns for change of mind. We recommend reviewing sizes, fabric, color, and finishing options before ordering—swatches and our Measure & Choose Guide can help you decide with confidence.

What if there is a quality issue or a mistake on your side?

If there’s a quality issue or we made a mistake, we make it right—quickly and fairly. Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the issue (and the packaging/shipping label if applicable). Once confirmed, we’ll offer the best resolution: repair, replacement, or refund where appropriate.

Where are your products made?

All Dusty Linen products are made-to-order in our workshop in Lithuania (Europe). Each piece is handmade by skilled artisans and quality-checked before dispatch.

How long does made-to-order take?

Production is typically 3–10 business days, depending on the item and order volume.

How long does shipping take?

Delivery times are estimates and start after your order is dispatched (not from the purchase date).

USA, typically 2–5 business days

Delays can happen due to customs checks, severe weather, holidays/weekends, remote locations, or courier delays beyond our control.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is calculated at checkout. Standard rate tiers (for parcels up to 10 kg) typically are:

€0.00–€150: €25

€150.01–€300: €15

FREE express shipping for orders over €300 (or equivalent shown at checkout) to standard destinations and parcels up to 10 kg.

Important: Free shipping does not cover destination-based surcharges (remote/extended areas, islands, etc.).
Remote/extended area surcharge:

Some addresses may be classified as remote/extended areas by DHL or other carriers and may require an additional surcharge. If a surcharge applies and wasn’t calculated at checkout, we’ll contact you before dispatch. Orders ship only after approval and payment.
Customs & import taxes (non-EU orders):

For deliveries outside the EU, customs duties, import VAT/GST, and brokerage/clearance fees may apply. These charges are not included and are the buyer’s responsibility.

Note: Newsletter subscribers may receive a €10 shipping discount code. If applied, it can change your shipping tier by lowering the order total.

Can I make changes to or cancel an order?

Because each item is made to order, changes or cancellations are only possible within 12 hours of purchase. After that, fabric cutting and production may begin, and we may no longer be able to modify or cancel the order.

If you need to update something (measurements, notes, or shipping address), please contact us as soon as possible - we’ll do our best to help if production hasn’t started yet.

Are taxes and import duties included in the price?

Please note that import duties are not included in this price. As the order will be shipped from the EU to the USA, import duties and any applicable customs charges will need to be paid by you separately in your country, based on the declared value of the goods.

We recommend checking local rules before ordering.

Do you accept returns and exchanges?

Because most of our items are made to order, we don’t accept returns or exchanges for change of mind on custom-made or personalized orders.

EU customers (standard items only): Eligible standard items may be returned within 14 days of delivery, provided they are unused, unwashed, and in resellable condition. Please contact us before sending anything back—unannounced returns may be refused.

Non-EU customers: Due to the made-to-order nature of our production and international return limitations, we generally don’t offer change-of-mind returns outside the EU. Returns may be accepted only if an item is defective, damaged in transit, or incorrect, or where required by local consumer laws.

Hygiene / final sale: Opened, used, or washed hygiene-related items (including bedding) and “Final Sale” items are not returnable (except where required by law).

If something arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours with clear photos of the issue, packaging, and shipping label—we’ll offer the best resolution (repair, replacement, or refund where applicable).

How long will it take to get a refund?

Once we receive and inspect the returned item (where a return applies), approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to post the refund.

Please note: shipping fees are generally non-refundable, and customs/import duties, VAT/GST, and carrier handling fees are not refunded by us.

I’m ordering for multiple windows or a full room—can you offer a better price?

For larger projects, we can prepare a tailored quote based on quantity and scope. Message us your items, approximate sizes, destination, and timeline.

Do you work with interior designers or wholesale?

Yes. We offer trade support and handle wholesale/hospitality inquiries. Send us your project details.

How can I contact you, and when will you reply?
