PRODUCT INFORMATION

Where are your products made?

All our home textiles: linen couch covers, linen bedding, linen curtains and kitchen linens are made in Vilnius, Lithuania.

What is stonewashed linen?

Stonewashed linen is describing quality linen that has been pre-washed prior to use. Stonewashing prevents shrinkage so your items can easily be machine washed and tumble dried.

Is linen eco-friendly?

Linen is one of the most ecofriendly and stylish fabrics in fashion history:

*flax grows naturally and requires no additional water other than rainwater;

*flax linen is recyclable and biodegrades;

*the whole flax plant can be used, leaving no waste;

*very little energy is required to process flax. Linen yarn is inherently strong, which reduces the need for starching during spinning and weaving.

*linen is many times stronger than cotton, which means bedding, curtains, and covers are made to last for many years.

Is linen more durable than cotton?

The linen is more durable and gets better with each wash, unlike cotton which can become threadbare as the fibers are weakened. Linen uses fewer resources in its production, so it is also a more eco-friendly, sustainable fabric.

What does OEKO-TEX certified mean?

All Dusty Linen products are made from OEKO-TEX certified linen, which ensures the human-ecological safety of textile products in all stages of production (raw materials and fibers, yarns, fabrics, end products). Products that are OEKO-TEX certified are absent of allergenic dyes, pesticides, heavy metals and other harmful substances.

How should I wash my linens?

The linen can be machine or hand washed at a low temperature up to 40 C/104 F. Please wash linens separately or with similar colors. The fabrics can even be tumble-dried on low heat. We don’t recommend using bleach or detergent with optical brighteners as they tend to weaken the fibers.

Do I need to iron linen?

There is no need to iron linen products unless they have become very wrinkled. In fact, we prefer the natural wrinkles – they are what give linen its drapery and soft feel. But if you like ironing, or have an item that really needs to be ironed, iron while the fabric is still damp or use a quality steamer.

Do you offer custom sizes?

We accept custom size requests for all our made-to-order products. Please contact us.

How long will it take to get my order?

All orders are sewed only after purchase and processing takes 3-10 workdays. The courier delivery, usually, takes from 3 to 7 business days after the items are processed. Delivery time might differ depending on your location. For more delivery details visit our Shipping Policy.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards as well as PayPal.

Can I make changes to an existing order?

If you need to make changes to an existing order, please email us within 12 hours of placing it. Unfortunately, we cannot modify custom orders or items that have already been shipped.

Are there any custom and/or import duties added to the purchase?

Buyers are responsible for any potential customs and import taxes, as we are unable to predict international tax requirements. Additionally, we are not accountable for any delays caused by customs procedures.

Specific Information:

  • United States: No taxes are applicable for orders up to $800 USD.
  • Australia: No taxes for orders up to 1,000 AUD.
  • European Union: No additional taxes apply, as all necessary taxes are included in the purchase price for EU orders.

Can I cancel my order?

Order Cancellation Policy

  1. Cancellation Window: You may cancel your order by contacting us within 12 hours of placing it. Unfortunately, we cannot process cancellations thereafter, as production may have already started.
  2. Cancellation Process: For cancellations, please email us directly. Be sure to include your order details for faster processing.
  3. Non-Cancelable Orders: We cannot cancel orders that have already been shipped or custom-made items.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Do you accept returns and exchanges?

You can return items within 14 days of receiving your order. Returns are accepted on all regularly priced, non-customized items. Please note that sale items are not eligible for return.

To process a return, you must contact us within 14 days of receiving your order and provide the tracking number for the returned package. Without a tracking number, we cannot be held responsible for items lost or not delivered back to us. If the return is initiated after this 14-day period, we reserve the right to refuse the return.

How long will my refund take and how will I be refunded?

Once the item is received, we will refund you in 30 days from the day on which we receive the returned goods. We will issue a refund to your original payment method. For more details, please read our Return Policy.

Who is responsible for return shipping costs?

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs.
